Developing P2 Marketing Plans
(Hands On)

We will walk you through the various stages of designing a marketing strategy, building from lowest level of individual facilities to the corporate level. In this hands-on workshop will we will develop, with audience participation, two marketing plan outlines from topics suggested by the audience. This presentation will give you the opportunity to get involved, ask questions, and watch your ideas develop into a marketing strategy. The foundation for these marketing strategies comes from years of experience, the most recent being with DTSC's Vehicle Service Repair Project (under SB 1916's Pollution Prevention Program). Successful partnerships with Ford, Lincoln Mercury, Napa Auto Parts and AAA of California leveraged the commitment and resources of these large corporate partners to enhance and multiply opportunities to deliver pollution prevention to California's large (30,000) and dispersed auto repair shops.
