Reduction in Waste Generation in a Chicken Processing Plant - Manufacture of Food Products and Beverages #46
Abstract: This is a P2 study of Equity, a large chicken nugget processor seeking to reduce BOD loading in wastewater and overall water usage. After waste reduction modifications, many of them very basic, BOD loading was reduced by 50%.
