Strengthening Corporate Commitment to Pollution Prevention in Illinois: Concepts & Case Studies of Total Cost Assessment [PDF]
Abstract: Opinions about, knowledge of and use of TCA at eight firms in the Illinois printing and chemicals industries are presented in this report. For three of these firms, in-depth case studies are presented based on a pending or recently completed environmental projects. In addition, for two projects, two different financial analyses were performed - - one using the company's standard financial analysis methods and one using a Total Cost Assessment (TCA) approach.
