The subgroup of the Green Chemical Institute, the Pharmaceutical Roundtable was developed to encourage innovation while catalyzing the integration of green chemistry and green engineering in the pharmaceutical industry.

3.  The Critical Path Institute - Predictive Safety Testing Consortium

The Predictive Safety Testing Consortium (the "Consortium") was established to work in collaboration with The Critical Path Institute ("C-Path") and the FDA to identify and validate safety biomarkers (SBMs) that will: Speed up and/or reduce the cost of preclinical drug safety evaluation. -Improve understanding of mechanisms of toxicity. -Provide novel tools for managing the development of compounds that fail studies in preclinical drug safety assessment. -Provide potential early indicators of clinical safety. -Provide potential early indicators of clinical safety in drug development and for post-marketing surveillance. -Use best available expertise via collaborations with industry, academia, and government.
