Ski Areas: Acknowledgements
The authors of this topic hub extend a special thanks to all contributors who
helped make this product a technically accurate and credible resource.
The hub was developed largely through the research and work of Tetra Tech EM,
Inc. It is based primarily on information provided in a handbook titled "Greening
Your Ski Area - A Pollution Prevention Handbook" released in January 2002,
by Tetra Tech EM Inc. Funding was provided from the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency and administered though the Colorado Department of Public Health and
Environment Pollution Prevention Program. The hub addresses a statement of need
expressed by many ski areas throughout the country as they look to improve their
operations and increase profits through proven ways to green their operations.
This hub was created to give pollution prevention service providers the information
they need to offer technical assistance.
